Very nice not often found Leica I to II conversion set complete with early Leitz 50mm f3.5 Elmar lens. In the past it was possible to upgrade the cameras at Leica. In this case one of the previous owners upgraded his Leica I to a Leica II. After the upgrade the camera was supplied with a rangefinder. The upgrade was quite expensive as that time but of course more interesting as buying a new camera. Camera is in great condition. Some very small signs of use. Technically it is in perfect working condition. Speeding times are accurate. Finder is bright and clear. The right window on the back side shows a a crack as you can see on the last picture but for using no problem. The lens is quite interesting as this is an early one with short tube. Most of these lenses were upgraded as well but this one not. Some haze is visible between the lens elements. Great camera for using or collecting.
