All VHS tapes have been played to verify that they are in working condition.

I inspect every tape to verify that it is the correct title, that it is in very good playable condition, and that there is no sign of mold.

If there is any sign of mold, the tape is cleaned thoroughly (two passes in forward and two passes in reverse) using a Cleanermate VC-8088 VHS Video Cassette Tape Cleaner that I purchased specifically for this purpose.

Unless stated in the auction title, all VHS tapes are used, meaning they have been played before.

The cover sleeve often shows signs of wear such as frayed edges, tears, stickers, sticker residue, tape, tape residue, etc.

In some cases the cover sleeve has been removed and made to fit an aftermarket VHS case.

Most, if not all of them came from a video rental store that closed (I think) in 2009.

I try my best to take the best photographs but in the end I have an antique digital camera and pretty much no understanding of proper lighting, backgrounds, etc. I do my best to take good photographs but sometimes my best is barely adequate and for this I apologize.

If you purchase 2-5 tapes, I will knock 2 dollars off for every tape purchased after the first one.

If you purchase 6-14 tapes, I will knock 3 dollars off for every tape purchased after the first one.

If you purchase more than 14 tapes at once, we can discuss it. I’ll do my best to make it worth your while.

Tapes that come in sets of two counts as ONE tape.

The discount will be in the form of a refund after the purchase as I don’t know how to do it any other way…sorry.

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am disabled. In 2018, I crushed two of the vertebrae in my back. I was paralyzed from the waist down for almost a year, but through a lot of hard work and a lot of luck, I was able to relearn how to walk, drive, etc again.

With that said, I have been able to pack and ship the vast majority of items within 24 hours. Occasionally however, I am unable to move or get out of bed. This seems to happen about 1 or 2 days every other month.

Communication is key. I do my best to keep my customers informed regarding shipping times, etc.

If you have any problem with any item you’ve purchased from me, just let me know and within reason I will do my best to work with you to make it right. Again, communication is key. I can’t make things right if I don’t know about it.

If you threaten negative feedback, or are rude or make physical threats, etc I will not negotiate with you beyond that point, and I will block you as a bidder.
