What's the difference between noise-cancelling and noise-isolating?
AIR DEFENDER is a noise-isolating ear protector, so it blocks noise with a physical barrier (earmuff) while wearing the product. Alternatively, noise-cancelling products produce an inverse sound wave to reduce noise while the product is turned on.

Are these loud?
AIR DEFENDER is a safety product, first and foremost. It blocks 24 dB of sound coming into your ear from the environment and limits the audio output into your ear to 85 dB. Some non-safety headphones can have a max volume output between 100-115 dB.

Do I have to use the aux cord?
No, the aux cord is an optional accessory that can be used to connect to your device if you do not want to connect wirelessly via Bluetooth.
