These work with the Zygon learning machine. While the discs are played through a regular cd player, they are not suggested to be used with regular headphones or speakers, as the CDs play a high frequency tone to activate the light shield. If you play the CDs through normal headphones/speakers, it could possibly damage your speakers. Playing the CDs through the Zygon  learning machine should filter out the entire buzz when translating it into light patterns.

People online have suggested that cds also work well with other sound/light therapy learning devices like the  Mind Alive David Plus without the high pitch. This is because The David Plus has the glasses, so that pitch is sent there, but please do your own research on this as we can not verify this.
