If your printer has installed the latest firmware, it will reject all new toner cartridges with a "Non HP" error message. Please turn off the auto-update and try to downgrade firmware if need. You could follow the picture in this page to fixed it or contact us for more assistance.

1. Turn off "Check Automatically" and "Allow Update"
Setup → Service → Laserjet Update → Manage Update → Select "Check Automatically" → Choose "NO"→ Select "Allow Update" → Choose "NO"

2. Check your Firmware Datecode
System setup → Service → Firmware Datecode

· If the firmware datecode is earlier than 20221010, your printer will not be affected by the upgrade and the cartridge can be used normally.
· If the current firmware datecode is 20221010, you are recommended to downgrade the firmware or you could contact us for assiantance.

3. Downgrade Firmware
If the printer firmware datecode is 20221010, please contact us and we will send you the old firmware version.

Setup → Service → Laserjet Update → Manage Update → Select "Check Automatically" → Choose "NO"→ Select "Allow Update" → Choose "Yes"→ Select "Allow Downgrade"→ Choose "Yes"

Open the old firmware on the computer → Select printer your printer model → Click "Send Firmware" → Until the smile logo appears

4. Disable Auto-upgrade
