The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 S Pen is the first S Pen to include Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity — transforming the stylus from a passive writing tool into a wireless remote control for the Note 9. With 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and a 0.7mm tip, it delivers the precision Samsung designed for note-taking, sketching, and document annotation. The Bluetooth connection allows remote shutter control for the camera, slide navigation for presentations, and media playback control — all from up to 30 feet away.
The S Pen charges inside the Note 9 — 30 seconds of charging provides approximately 40 minutes of Bluetooth use. When the battery is depleted, the pen still functions as a traditional stylus with full pressure sensitivity.
