The pillow is embroidered using a half-cross stitch. A distinctive feature of the stramin canvas is that each intersection of the threads is marked with a colored square, which makes the embroidery process much easier. Thanks to the special stiffening treatment of the stramin fabric, an embroidery hoop is not required.
1. Preparing the Threads:
Please note that the threads in this kit are not pre-sorted by color.
To avoid confusion during your work, sort the threads by color first. Use the colored squares below the printed pattern on the canvas as a guide.
Pull one thread of each color through the matching square, so you can easily identify each shade as you stitch.
2. About the Pattern:
The embroidery chart is printed directly on the canvas.
There is no additional paper chart included, but the printed pattern is clear and easy to follow.
3. Important Note:
Do not allow water to come into contact with the canvas before your embroidery is finished, as this may damage the printed design or distort the fabric.
