Waistband measures 12.75 inches laying flat, unstretched.

Rise is approximately 10 inches (waistband to crotch seam).

These briefs seem to have a very good stretch to them. I have tried to show close up photos of the material. It seems to be very nice and different from any underwear I have seen before. Not the standard type elastic band for the waist and legs. They seem like they would be very comfortable. 

The size tag is situated on the left side seam which is also something I have not seen before.

I am unsure of what year these are from. I was not able to find a similar pair on eBay to compare. 

The packaging seems older than the others I saw.
