Midcentury Modern sterling silver box. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Rectangular with straight sides. Cover hinged and flat with scalloped corners and slight overhanding. Cast Chinese-style finial in form of stylized dragon with scrolled body. Corner bracket supports in same style. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, postwar pattern no. 23424, and director’s letter L (1956-ca 1965).
