Drive the pipe into the ground

The included galvanized pipe anchor is driven into the ground 24" using a 5-10lb sledgehammer or a post pounder.

Adjust your pipe to level

Use a leveling tool to keep your pipe as straight as possible when pounding it into the ground. Check the level & adjust as needed during the process.

Sleeve vinyl post over pipe

The post sleeve should fit snugly over your pipe anchor. No screws are required to secure post to pipe.

Attach fence panel to the post

Your fence panel will come with brackets. Screw the brackets to the fence post and attach your fence panel to the fence post.

  • Can I remove this fence?

    This fence is designed to be permanent once installed. It's theoretically possible to remove it using specialized hydraulic equipment, but it's not recommended.

  • How do I install this fence at angles other than 90 degrees?

    You can angle this fence by using generic hinges purchased at the hardware store.

  • How strong is the fence?

    In field tests, provided this fence is installed properly in normal ground conditions, this fence is just as strong - if not stronger- than traditionally installed fence with concrete footings. Our wind testing certification proves it.

  • Is there ground conditions where this fence won't work?

    This fence is not recommended in soil that is rocky, swampy or sandy deep down. It works well in hard dirt or clay soil. Please see our knowledge base for an article on how to test your soil, or call WamBam directly.
