You are looking at one of the earliest Samsung Android smartphones, in excellent condition. This unit has been stored and kept safe for many years. It has been factory reset and the hardware, operating system and software are fully operational in-and-of themselves. There’s some minor scuffing on the rear panel and very little scuffing on the screen.

In addition to the model name “Continuum,” this was also known as the “Galaxy S” which was before the product line that we now know as the Galaxy series began.

In addition to having all the expected features like cameras, WiFi, Bluetooth and microSD slot, this was a very early adopter of the Super AMOLED display technology. In fully working condition, with a healthy battery and no significant damage, this unit is a gem of a find, indeed.

This model also has a bit of an odd feature, which is a secondary small display panel below the primary screen. This second panel would display the date and time, and also notifications and/or weather or other supported apps. It’s like a dedicated notification screen. When the phone is on, but the screen is off, all you have to do is hold the phone in your hand and this display comes on to show you any alerts or just the time. You can see this in effect in one of the photos.

Please note that once the phone is powered off and on - as in, rebooted - the activation software prompts come up again, and in order to access the main interface, you need to enter a sequence into the emergency dial pad. It’s quick and easy, but without doing this you cannot access anything else. This information will be on a sticker on the phone’s rear panel.
