The Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa is a resort in the Ouachta Mountains of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Samuel W. Fordyce and two other entrepreneurs financed the construction of the first luxury hotel in the area, the first Arlington Hotel, which opened in 1875. When it was rebuilt in 1892-93, the hotel was known as the New Arlington and was designed with “Spanish Renaissance” architecture. It had 300 rooms in the four story building, with corner towers. That 2nd Arlington Hotel burned to the ground in 1923. It was rebuilt again in1924 which is the current Arlington Hotel.

This DB card, published  by “C.E. Wheelock, Peoria” chronicles the second New Arlington Hotel. It is in excellent condition with no wear and a clean, clear image and reverse.

Wheelock was a publisher of B&W, hand colored, and tinted colotype view-cards of the American East between 1905 and 1909, which help to date this card

The colors on the card may vary due to the scanner settings and screen projections.
