Terry Riley took the musical forefront with these major recordings in the late 1960s/early 1970s:- In C (Columbia 1968, gatefold with composition score)

- Persian Surgery Dervishes (Shandar 1972, gatefold double LP)
These three LP releases are original release LP pressings, all in general VG+ condition (jackets and discs), a center cutout hole in the Persian album, Rainbow album has plastic wrap over the jacket. The Shandar release of two Riley performances in LA & Paris is an especially rare LP album, of of fascinating Riley keyboard playing.
These are all landmark, entrancing compositions and performances of Riley's repetition/drone style musical minimalism. These are a great addition to any vinyl LP collection, contemporary American music, or minimalist style music collection.
