8vo., 287pp. Sharp First Edition of this treatise and reference about decorative antiques. , bound in green cloth with decorative titles in gilt on front board and spine. Top edge gilt. Illustrted. Square, tight and clean throughout with mild wear to edges and tips. Some scuffing to rear board. A hint of page toning but barely. Light off-setting to end-papers. Tiny stain on for-edge. Hand-written signed letter in original mailing envelope which has been tipped onto the front paste-down. The letter is written on a 10" x 6.5" sheet of notepaper folded in half so four pages of test are written; then folded again to fit in the envelope. The letter is to one Elizabeth Parkington, (with her small bookplate on the front paste-down above the envelope), The content appears to be simple small talk between two friends. A beautiful collectable copy at a great price.
