Inscribed, signed and dated by Walker Vidal on the front end-paper, "To Glen Breedy, Best wishes to a good brother in Alpha. Wilbert L. Walker 8/7/79". A publisher's promotional order form laid in. A gorgeous collectable copy of the author's first novel; a story about a black professional's struggle after attaining a high-level position in state government. Surprisingly uncommon, particularly in high-grade.
