Freebooter Miniatures produced a number of Limited Edition Christmas figures, including this elegant angel simply titled "2004 Christmas Miniature" (WEI 005). It was limited to a run of 500 casts, and quickly sold out. This is a metal figure painted by awarding-winning artist James Wappel.
The angel is in beautiful condition and painted to display standard, featuring James' signature use of vibrant colors, the skilled use of color to perfectly mimic sheer fabric, and a rocky scenic base. She is suitable for display or as a superb standout NPC in your next adventure campaign.
About the artist: James burst onto the mini painting scene in 2001 and is known for his vibrant color palettes. On CMON, James' work is posted under the artist name "Wappellious." He is widely known and respected in the miniature painting community for his work and teaching. Between 2007 to 2012, James won 14 Games Workshop Golden Demon trophies at Games Day Golden Demon competitions in Chicago, taking home trophies in the categories of Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40k, and Lord of the Rings. He has placed in multiple other miniature painting competitions over the years. He authors a blog, tutorials, has a Patreon page, and is also known as one of nicest artists in the miniature community.
