*Map: pictures were taken on the Gift with Purchase Map for the 1st Disneyland GWP pin series in 2000. It is not part of this auction but we do have it available.

It features the map of Disneyland and the different lands, one pin was released each month to be mounted on a special map of Disneyland.

Each mini pin was given to customers with a purchase of $15 or more in pins (GWP).

These are the pins in the the very first GWP pin series in 2000:

1st PIN

*Disneyland April 2000 mini pin- Disneyland "D" Pin-

This is a small (approx 1/2") pin of the letter "D" done in the same font as the classic Disneyland logo.

This was the 1st issued in a series of 9 pins, one released each month - April-December 2000. NOTE: The "D" was not the start of a series with the letters in DISNEY or DISNEYLAND; the pins in this series commemorated different areas of the park and the "D" commemorated Guest Relations.

2nd PIN

*Disneyland May 2000 mini pin- Jungle Cruise Hippo Pin- This is a small (approx 1/2") Jungle Cruise Hippo pin/Adventureland:

A hippopotamus from the Jungle Cruise ride is the 2nd of 9 pins mini pins released to commemorate the various areas of Disneyland.

3rd PIN

*Disneyland June 2000 mini pin Explorer Canoe for Frontierland Pin- This is a small pin (approx 5/8") Davy Crockett Explorer Canoe:

The Canoe is 3rd of 9 pins in a series of GWP pins released at Disneyland in 2000 to represent one of the areas of the park. This pin, representing Frontierland, shows a Davy Crockett Explorer Canoe. It is an off white canoe with give light blue "waves" along the bottom and an orange circle on each end. Inside one circle - very hard to see without a magnifying glass - is a pine tree; the other circle has a Mickey head icon.

4th PIN

*Disneyland July 2000 mini pin Autopia Car for Tomorrowland Pin- This is a small pin (approx 5/8 inch) Suzy Cute Autopia Car/Tomorrow Land:

The purple car is one of the "new" (for 2000) "Suzy Cute" Autopia cars. It was the 4th of a series of 9 mini-pins released to commemorate the various areas of the Disneyland park. The car faces left, with blue and white wheels.

5th PIN

*Disneyland August 2000 minipin Toon Town Postal Box Pin- This is a small pin (approx 3/8" W x 5/8") :

This toon postal or mail box is the 5th of 9 pins released, one a month April-December 2000, as part of a mini-pin series to commemorate various parts of the Disneyland park. This pin represents Toon Town (Toontown). The toon mailbox looks like a standard United States postal box, with a blue body and red hood. The words "Toon Town Postal Box" appear on the side.

6th PIN

*Disneyland September 2000 mini pin Fantasyland Teacup Pin- This is a small pin (approx 1/2") Mad Hatter Tea Cup/Fantasyland:

The Mat Hatter Tea Cups ride is highlighted in this GWP mini pin, the 6th of 9 pins given, one each month, April-December 2000 to commemorate the different areas of the Disneyland park. The pink teacup represents Fantasyland; it has flower decorations and yellow trim, just like the one on the actual Mad Hatter Tea Party attraction.

7th PIN

*Disneyland October 2000 mini pin New Orleans square Saxophone Pin- This is a small pin (approx 5/8") Saxophone/New Orleans Square:

This small yellow saxophone, with a white cloud of song notes pouring out, is the 7th of 9 pins released in 2000, one a month, as a series commemorating the various areas of the Disneyland Park.

8th PIN

*Disneyland November 2000 mini pin Train for Main Street Pin- This is a small pin (approx 5/8") Disneyland Railroad Train/Main Street:

The train from the Disneyland Railroad is the 8th of 9 pins released, one a month April-December 2000, to commemorate the various areas of the Disneyland park. The little green train represents Main Street; it has red wheels, a purple smokestack and a little "D" on the side. It faces to the left.

9th PIN (the last one in the 2000 series)

*Disneyland December 2000 mini pin Mickey head Pin- This is a small pin (approx 5/8") Mickey Mouse Head:

This is the last of the nine Disneyland mini (it is about the size of a dime) gift with purchase (GWP) pins, released in December 2000. It is a tiny purple-blue and white Mickey Mouse head with a cute smile!
