DIGITAL PHOTO FRAME OPTIONS - Users can put memorable photos in the specified gallery folder and automatically play on S8's large HD screen with just a tap (or hand gesture). Speed Compensation Volume Control (SCVC) - When the speed is up, the volume of the head unit increased at a certain percentage and the volume decreased as the speed was lowered.This is to compensate for road noise. Vehicle Fit:

This model features 10.1" display and double DIN adaptive head unit cases. The head unit case measures 170mm * 95mm * 36mm and the 10.1" screen measures 258mm x 160mm. Fits most vehicles with standard double DIN dash opening. On some vehicles, the end of the 10.1 inch display can block air vents, emergency switches, or other buttons around the double DIN opening which can cause inconvenience. Please make sure you have no such issues, or you can accept it. In addition, IAH10D style (integration of 10.1" displays and adaptive head units) can be used in conjunction with YO-FUNG vehicle-specific installation dash kits (wire harness, data interface, and mounting kit) to achieve a more integrated OEM factory - style look. Over 200 vehicle models have the opportunity to complete the OEM factory style installation.

Access to the internet and install Android apps from Google Play Store

• Compared with S8 (Gen1) (manufactured before Jan. 2021), S8 (Gen2) can provide up to 4 options for internet access. (1). Connect to the phone's hotspot via 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz WiFi; (2). Connect to the Phone Bluetooth and enable Bluetooth tethering option, (3). Use Phone data via USB network tethering feature (an exclusive feature from ATOTO. EasyConnect app is required ); (4). Built-in 4G Cellular Modem allows users to insert a SIM card with a data plan for internet access, and this option is only available on S8 Pro, S8 Ultra, and S8 Ultra Plus versions;
• Running online maps or streaming music online on Android car stereo do not need high bandwidth(less than200kb/s), Bluetooth tethering connection is capable of dealing with such demands.
• Compared with WiFi connection, Bluetooth tethering has lower power consumption, so the phone battery will last much longer while Bluetooth tethering is enabled;
• WiFi connection is easier as it requires only one step - enable your phone's WLAN hotspot; Bluetooth connection requires 2 to 3 steps;
• USB network tethering is a newly introduced option by ATOTO, and it allows users to share phone data with S8 via the USB connection. This could help save phone battery, or even increase it slightly; You only need to run the specific EasyConnect application in the background;
• More than 1000 apps from Google Play Store have been tested installable on ATOTO S8 Series, especially media/entertainment apps and navigation apps in the category of "Auto & Vehicles". Very few app developers may specify devices/system environments that are allowed to install or run their apps, which results in the inability to install or run on an Android car stereo. Netflix is the case.

• Connect to headrest monitors by using ATOTO Video Output Adaptor (ACEBAHV68: USB to HDMI adaptor; ACEBAHV48: USB To RCA adaptor; Both are sold separately), and what is displayed on S8's screen can be synchronized to headrest monitors.

Simply enable car stereo's GPS and Wi-Fi network for a hassle-free setup. Auto-run after the car starts. Never worry about power outages or battery replacements. A cost-effective solution with no need for an extra GPS tracking device or SIM card. Preinstalled in the car stereo and doesn't occupy the OBD interface.   Important: We offer a six-month trial of the Beta Version with a 15s refresh rate. Looking ahead, we will introduce a premium version with monthly payment. For S8 (Gen2), the TrackHU app is initially hidden for privacy. Go to “Settings>Device”, and tap “Device” 4 times quickly. Then a prompt will show up to tell you the TrackHU app is now visible in the app list. No prompt means your car stereo may need an upgrade to access the TrackHU function.

The possible extra accessories (dash frame kit, wiring harness, radio antenna adapter, data interface, etc.) required to finish installation in a specific vehicle are not included, and it is the buyer's responsibility to prepare them (if applicable).
HD 720P Rearview Video Display with Virtual Surround View Parking (Single-camera Based) & Live Rear View Features ATOTO S8 works with a specific HD camera to show HD 720P rearview video quality. S8 Premium has integrated a special Panoramic Image Stitching algorithm to process the image sent from a specific rearview camera and to rebuild a dynamic, virtual, but almost same-size ratio surroundings view. It is quite helpful for drivers to park large vehicles (full-size sedan/SUV, van, light trucks) in a narrow or small space. Live RearView (LRV) Feature - Access Rearview even if the vehicle in moving ahead. This could remove obstructions caused by passengers, headrests and the vehicle’s roof and rear pillars, increasing the field of view (the lanes behind and traditional blind-spots). Personal Privacy Protection & Online Product Protection Registration & Continuous System Software Update To secure Google, Facebook, and other SNS accounts from unauthorized access, S8 (Gen2) offers a screen lock option that activates when the car stereo is not under your control. The Bluetooth unlocking feature allows automatic screen unlock when reconnected, no need for manual password input. Register your products and you may get an extended 180-day product protection.
