This is a small, antique book, “Lessons For Every Sunday In The Year.” It is book number one in a series of four books that are: “lessons taken from the Historical and Prophetical Books, the Epistles, and the Psalms; all arranged in order of time…” It was published in 1862 by Carlton and Lanaham by the Sunday-School Department in New York. The books says it’s “adapted to scholars of all ages.”
This first book focuses on the Four Gospels and Acts of the Apostles. There are 112 pages and includes an introduction for teachers and superintendents and a table of lessons for each Sunday in the year. This book is almost pocket size and measures 5 3/8 inches by 3 1/2 inches. It is hardcover.
CONDITION: Overall, this book is in very good condition for its age! All pages and cover boards are strongly intact with spine and pages are clear of writing or marks. The inside of cover has a note written in pencil. Also, both front and back boards have wear, some brown stains, and edge wear. Please view photos.
