This is a beautiful Art Deco flapper bag, circa 1920's - 1930's. This fabulous metal enameled hinged mesh bag with metal fringe on the bottom, was made by Mandalian Mfg Co, (eventually purchased by Whiting and Davis Co.)

It has pretty yellow foundation with a blue and green motif design.

Bag Measures:.approximately 3 3/4 inches by 7 1/2 inches tall not including chain. The chain is about 7 inches long total.

The frame is beautifully detailed with flowers and art deco flourishes. There is a pretty chain handle and chain fringe on the bottom. There are six pieces of the dainty bottom fringe that are missing. These could be replaced by a jeweler.

This is in Good condition with some darkening to the patina (closure part and chain), the chain link fringe on the bottom is missing few pieces for fringe rows or partial rows. The pictures are part of the description, so please view all pictures. This is being sold as shown, so if you have any questions please contact us.

This purse is in excellent condition for being 100 years old! Some gorgeous patina and some expected wear. Please see photos.

It is marked "MANDALIAN MFG CO" on the inside of the frame under the clasp.
