The "Larghetto and Allegro" of which only unfinished fragments remained have been supplemented and completed as "for two pianos and orchestra" “Mozart: Concerto for Multiple Pianos” was recorded for the first time in the world and became a hot topic. Three years after the release of "Complete Works" (PCDA68367/CDA68367) the long-awaited new recording of the multi-piano ensemble an Israeli four-piece ensemble is now available!This work features multiple pianos and orchestra by Mendelssohn Moscheles Schubert and Liszt. A collection of works for. The original version of Mendelssohn/Moscheles' "Fantasy and Variations on a Theme of Weber" for two pianos and orchestra as well as Tomer Lev a member of the multi-piano ensemble and Israeli composer Aryeh Levanon. All tracks are recorded for the first time in these versions including Moscheles's ``Grand Duo'' reimagined with an orchestral arrangement making this work as much attention as its predecessor. The Multipiano Ensemble is an Israeli ensemble that was established in 2011 as a project under the Buchman-Meta School of Music (BMSM) which is jointly managed by Tel Aviv University and the Israel Philharmonic. We are a uniquely formed ensemble that specializes in multi-pianos from four-hand duets to multiple keyboard instruments or combinations of multiple pianos and other instruments and we perform a variety of arrangements from original works for multi-piano. works on newly discovered works and completed works and is attracting international attention for its performances featuring renowned Israeli pianist Tomer Lev (Director of BMSM).
