Prosrhyncholeya (abbreviated Pry.) Muscat Smile 'Green Mountain' is one of the best Prosthechea (abbreviated Psh.) mariae (formerly Enc. mariae) hybrids with a standard complex green Cattleya hybrid Rhyncholaeleocattleya (abbreviated Rlc.) Lester McDonald.

Psh. mariae, the pod parent, dominates the size of the plant, which reaches a mature height of 6 – 8 inches with 4 – 5 inch wide green glowers with a delightful fragrance. It also contributes to the compact growth habit. Pry. Muscat Smile 'Green Mountain' is an easy grower and capable of blooming twice a year generally in spring and fall. It has heat tolerance and is excellent for growing on a windowsill or under lights. Perfect for growers with limited space. Can be grown in pot, hanging basket or on a mount. Highly recommended.
