Eros Bonamini (1942-2012) was born in Verona, Italy. In September of 1960, his arms and legs were paralyzed as a result of heavy injuries suffered in high diving. Years later he became interested in painting, and in a relatively short time he developed an impressive skill. The artist created his works by holding the brush in his mouth. His early works show an affinity for surrealism and cubism and later his work was decidedly conceptual.
