Here is a good opportunity to acquire an authentic vintage example of Irish pottery from the Belleek pottery creators in Fermanagh, Ireland. Measuring 9 inches tall, it is beautifully decorative and in good condition for its age. It is marked on the bottom with the 4th green mark, and registered no. 0857. This piece was created when the factory reopened in 1946 after the war, and the mark was used until 1955. The intricate applied porcelain florals add delicate blues, pinks, yellows and greens to add color and charm to the front. Except for several leaf points missing from the tiny leaves around the rosebuds, pointed out in the photos, we could find no other chips or cracks on the piece. As you can see, these tiny missing points are difficult to see and find, and in no way detract from the beauty of the ewer. This interesting and dimensional item might be a perfect addition to your home or collection!
