⚠️ IMPORTANT: How to Choose the Correct Frequency for Your System
​Before purchasing, you must ensure that the frequency of this device matches your existing Visonic control panel. Wireless components of different frequencies will not communicate with each other.
​Method 1: Check the Label on Your Current Equipment
​The easiest way to find your frequency is to look at your existing control panel or one of your current motion sensors/remotes:
​Open the battery compartment or look at the back of the device.
​Look for a small white sticker indicating the frequency.
​It will typically say: 433.92 MHz, 868.95 MHz, or 915 MHz.
​Method 2: Identify by Geographic Region
​Visonic systems are factory-preset to comply with local radio regulations:
​Europe / UK / Middle East: Typically uses 868 MHz (Note: Israel uses 433 MHz).
​USA / Canada / Australia: Typically uses 915 MHz (PowerG) or 315 MHz (Legacy).
​Latin America / Parts of Asia: Often uses 433 MHz.
​Method 3: Check Your Panel's Model Name
​PowerMax / PowerMaster: These series exist in all frequencies. You must verify the specific version.
​Model Suffix: Check if your model number ends with a specific frequency code (e.g., PM-30-868 means 868 MHz).

SMD-426 PG2 is a fully supervised wireless photoelectric smoke detector that is compatible with PowerMaster® wireless alarm systems.
