A 19th Century French Bronze, Ormolu and Marble figural mantle clock with enamel Roman numerals and gilt hands fronting an eight-day spring driven movement raised on bronze case surmounted with cast figure of a young woman and putti raised on a white marble base, along with a pair of figural bronze and marble Urn garnitures of similar design.

Very good original overall condition fully working 8 day movement striking on a bell each hour and half hour.
The convex enamel dial features gilded Louis XVI-style pierced hands and is protected by a convex glass cover, similar to the one covering the mechanism at the back. The mechanism, which has been serviced, is functional and includes its pendulum and period key. The mercury gilding is in excellent original condition, as are the white marble bases, which show no chips. There are no missing parts on the entire garniture.
