ABOUT THIS CARD:
Vintage 1930s Aguila Choclates large paper-stock trading card #80 Brian Aherne.
Large paper-stock trading card measures approximately 3-1/8" x 4-3/8 inches.
Issued by Aguila Chocolates out of Uruguay sometime during the 1930s.
Issued on more of a thick paper stock than a card stock, glossy (low gloss) front. Back has design with eagle in circle (Aguila means eagle in Spanish), the only text being "Impresora Uruguaya S.A."
This sale is for the one card in the title and shown on the page—one card from a massive set of 300 different!
GRADING - CONDITION:
Presents well but does have a light diagonal indent near each corner—the corners had been inserted into matching diagonal slits in album pages for decades, so time weighed down on them with these impressions. Light soiling and/or specks of foxing/toning on back as shown. Grades in the VG range. Scans show both sides of actual card for sale.
OTHER NOTES:
International buyers
whose packages are shipping out of the United States are responsible for
any and all customs fees. eBay collects and handles most
customs/taxes/duties now, but if I'm called to do so then items are sent
as Merchandise and the amount I declare on your package is the actual
amount you paid for the item(s).
Add to eBay's cart or basket to be eligible for any bulk discounts including combined shipping—I'm almost always offering some sort of deal!
All items that I offer for sale are vintage and date to whichever date is mentioned in the title and/or listing.
Economy Rate: I've begun offering the more affordable eBay Standard Envelope on select items--including this one. These items ship in a white envelope with just a light stiffener, but at a much lower rate.
