VINTAGE SMALL TEA SET PORCELAIN CHINA/JAPAN? IN SILK BOX.  The bottom of the teapot is marked made in China.  I am just not certain.  It has never been used, never removed from the box for display or use.  It has been kept stored away in a bedroom closet since the 1980's when it was received new.  It comes as pictured in the original box.  Due to the age, the box interior has some creases and dents, please see pictures.  The teapot, cups and tray are free of cracks or chips.  

The box measures approximately 8" x 6 3/4" x 2 1/4". It has a padded lid.  This was designed as a child's teapot set, but should not be given to children due to the small size and breakable porcelain.  The teapot measures approximately 2 3/4" high with lid and approx. 5" from handle to spout.  The teacups measure approx. 1 1/4" tall.  The 5 1/2" diameter tray is tied onto the lid of the box. Great collector's item!
