UPDATE - 08/24/24: I sold this part for $149.99 to a person who planned to install it on his 2007 Lincoln Town Car only to discover that the wiring harness connection is different. As per the listing, this part is only suited for a 2003 - 2004 Lincoln Town Car.
In the process of returning the part a piece of plastic broke off. The plastic piece is not structural and could probably just be removed. In the alternative, a person could use the combined parts from this part and the failed part from their Town Car to create one working part. There are three pictures in the photo set that show the damaged area.
I have discounted the price of this part by $30 to account for the damage.

I recently made a trip to my local wrecking yard and purchased some parts for one of my project vehicles and I noticed they had a 2003 Lincoln Town Car that was fresh inventory. While I was there I decided to purchase this Power Trunk Lid Lift and Close Assembly because the part appeared to be in good shape and it was relatively easy to remove.
It's my understanding that Ford used this part on the Lincoln Town Car from 2003 - 2004 but I am not 100% certain. Please review the part number on the part you're looking to replace and make sure it matches the part number in this listing. The part number for this part is: 3W13-54433A86-AL. I lightly cleaned the part and it appears to be in very good shape. I don't have the ability to test the part but I believe that it is fully operational since the vehicle was in the wrecking yard due to a collision but there was no damage to the rear portion of the Town Car.
