Stainless steel mesh is a durable material perfect for applications using higher water temperatures or coarse particles. They are used for coarser sediment particulate where extremely dirty water is being filtered and a stronger filter is needed.
This is a genuine OEM replacement filter element in 60 mesh for use in the following cold and hot water filter systems:
* 3/4" and 1" Vu-Flow Screen Filter systems
* 3/4" and 1" Rusco Spin Down Filter systems

Stainless steel elements are available in 30, 60, 100, 140 and 200 mesh. Browse our store to find other mesh options. The base of this element is round with 4 protruding nubs. It is not for use with Sand Separator or Sediment Trapper systems, for which the element has a smooth circular base with a notch.
Please note! This element measures 5-1/2"x 1-3/16" and is used in a 3/4" or 1" filter system. How do you know what size filter system you have? T-style filter systems are identified by the port size and not by the diameter or length of the filter element. A 3/4″ or 1″ filter system means that the inlet/outlet ports of the white T filter body plumbed into the water line are 3/4″ or 1″.
Which size mesh is best for your use? In general, use the coarsest screen deemed necessary to filter the material you want removed. This will result in longer runs between blow-downs.
