Up for sale is a mounted antique telescope made by Jacob Abraham, Optician, Bath, England. Based on top-line research, it was made between 1808-1847. Mount looks original but not certain. It was acquired from a collectors estate in the Hudson Valley, Tarrytown, NY.

The scope has some dents, scratches and wear consistent with being almost 200 years old! Yes, you can still see through the lens but not clear because of dust etc - no attempt was made to clean or take apart. Selling AS IS, definitely needs to be professionally refurbished.

The telescope measures 39.5” and the tripod with Mount approximately 49”. I’m happy to show it “in person” before you acquire, just message me to arrange.
