Materials Needed:
Clothesline: Cotton clothesline that is 3/16" to 7/32"
Duo-Fuse: Double sided fusible batting available in 1 yard packages
CLOTHESLINE VERSION:
BASIC BOWL (8 1/2" x 3"D):
Fabric: 11 - 2 1/2" x 42" fabric strips (1 yard)- 10 for the bowl, 1 for the binding
Clothesline - 35 feet
Bushel Basket (12"W x 10"D)
Fabric: 29 - 2 1/2" x 42" fabric strips (2 yards), 20 for the bowl, 1 for the binding
Clothesline - 100 feet
CATNIP BOWL: (14"W x 10"D)

Matching cotton thread
This project uses a lot of thread. Before beginning, pre-fill at least 2 bobbins. A 50-weight 2-ply thread is perfect for this project.

Other Tools: Sewing Machine with a good zigzag stitch, Machine needles: Microtex 90/14 for straight stitching and Denim 110/18 for zigzag stitching.
