Why the use of adapters from metric to US standard is important in USA and Canada?

NPT threads differ from BSP threads in the tooth angle, which is 60 degrees instead of 55, and have more pronounced edges. Another difference is the pitch: NPT threads have 11.5 threads per inch, while BSP threads have 11 threads per inch. In other words, they are not compatible and do not fit each other properly.

Therefore, to prevent potential leaks and improve the reliability of your project, the use of adapters is a must.

It can be used with tank sizes up to 1354, with heavy media like sand, and up to 1665 with GAC and/or Filter-AG.

This valve is for use in water filters (carbon, sediment, multimedia, sand, or any other backwash media), for residential or commercial application.
Media tank is usually a FRP tank, holding the media, and this valve will do backwash and rinse service for the media.
Single tank control valve, no water pass when the valve is in washing.

Has a Mounting base 2.5"-8NPSM, and Inlet/Outlet/Drain ports G1" Female threads, or FIP1" threads / Spigot Socket 1", with adapters if included.

Control Valve has Service, Fast rinse, and Backwash modes, with manual operation. With a handle, you can switch the settings easily without turning off the pump or the power. When selecting a valve setting, make sure the handle arrow points to the desired mode directly (not in between two modes). NO electricity required.

If you have started backwashing your filter, always make sure you backwashed enough to get turbidity leave the tank. Usually it takes 6-10 minutes to backwash.

Use additional flow restriction valve or a washer on the drain line to limit drain flow for NOT to wash out the tank media.
