Note
▷ Users will need to purchase a needle file of approximately 1/4" width or similar for the repair.
▷ Superglue is required to affix the metal latch to the existing plastic, but a good two-part plastic-safe epoxy is recommended for long-term stability (clamping required).
▷ If operating in wet or humid environments, or if corrosion is a concern, it is advisable to paint the latch before installation or apply a coating of plastic-safe PTFE grease after installation.
