Designed for Narrow Aluminium & Steel Gate Frames
This 25mm Backset Tube Latch has been specifically designed for aluminium and steel gate frames where space is limited.
It is commonly used in 30mm, 40mm, 50mm and 60mm box section gate frames, allowing quality privacy locksets to be fitted where a standard 65mm backset latch simply won't fit.
The compact 25mm backset provides greater flexibility when building slim aluminium gates and custom steel fabrication projects.
The 25mm Backset is measured from the centre of the square spindle hole to the inside edge of the front faceplate.
When fitted to aluminium or steel frames, the faceplate is surface mounted. Since metal frames are generally not recessed like timber doors, the faceplate will sit proud by approximately 2.5mm.
An optional adapter is available to convert the square spindle drive to a flat bar drive for compatible lock applications.
Please Note: Adapters are only available when purchased with the same quantity of 25mm backset latches in the same transaction.
