A Saldaña Albacete Style Bowie Machete Knife Made In Mexico 1900s Antique RARE

This is an antique 12” bowie style knife was made in Mexico by a company called A Saldaña. This is an Albacete style knife with a horn handle and a machete shaped bowie style blade. Albacete was a city in Spain known for their islamic inspired knife making. Likely sold as a combat knife in the late 1800s early 1900s. The blade from the hilt measures 7.5”.
