The +Romeo and Juliet at hand constitutes not Shakespeare's iconic play, but a ballet inspired by the late 16th cdentury tragedy, co-created by Mauro Bigonzetti and Fabrizio Plessi and mounted in 2006 for the Festspiele Ludwigshafen. Bigonzetti choreographs for the stage; Plessi designed the sets and costumes. Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfatz lends musical accompaniment.
