The Intruders are known as the first successful soul group created by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, the Philly soul producing team that created an era.
Their first album, ``The Intruders Are Together'', which they released on the Gamble label in 1967, had been delayed for some reason in being released on CD, so this reissue is a great thing for soul fans. Dew.
Two ballads, "(We'll Be) United," the group's long-awaited first hit, and "Together," their first R&B Top 10 hit, are especially worth listening to, and Gamble-Hough's path to glory. It can be said to be an important work that served as a bridge between the two.
