The Yaesu FRG-7 is still used to full satisfaction by many radio amateurs. In terms of sensitivity, it is certainly not inferior to modern receivers.

However, the readout is analog. That is why this modification is an excellent update for this beautiful receiver. The display replaces the S-meter. This update has been implemented in such a way that the FRG-7 can be returned to its original state within 45 minutes, if desired.
