Description

A beautiful antique or old vintage French handmade, hand beaded and embroidered, white glass micro beaded elegant little purse, hand embroidered in a pretty floral pattern on both sides and along gusset.  Soft pastels worked in tambour embroidery with the Point de Beauvais stitch.  Frame is tooled in a wavy pattern.  Nice thick-ish gold tone chain with a bright cut look.  Lined in ivory fabric with original tag " Made in France, Hand-Made".  Mirror pocket (no mirror).  Secure kiss clasp.  Embroidery pattern looks very WW1 Era to me, possibly 1920's.   Charming diminutive size.  Would make a lovel bridal / wedding bag.

Beautiful gently used antique condition with light age appropriate wear.  No obvious loose beads but possible I missed a tiny spot.  May have some missing beads and maybe a short tea like stain at frame on 1 side, very minimal and mentioned for accuracy, not visually distracting and can be carried with that being the backside if desired.   Lining has some light staining, see pic.   Clasp works properly.

Measures approx. 5-1/4" long x 5" tall to top of frame, handle has a 5" drop.

Payment is due within 2 days of end of auction & a reminder for payment through Ebay is sent if payment is not rec'd within this time frame.  ALL PAYPAL payments will ship to the CONFIRMED ADDRESS ONLY as listed with Paypal.  I ship promptly, within 3 business days of a cleared or instant payment.  I will open bidding for International buyers on an individual basis if your country is not listed as one I ship to. Shipping

INSURANCE & DELIVERY CONFIRMATION (or Signature if over $650.00) is INCLUDED in the shipping & handling fee. Some items ship for a flat rate 1st class fee.  Otherwise see shipping calculator above for shipping cost to your zipcode, Priority or Parcel are options, which you choose at checkout.  I charge a small handling fee to cover or in most cases just help to defray the cost of packing supplies so that your item will arrive safely.   USPS Parcel shipping cost may be lower than Priority but PARCEL IS SLOWER THAN PRIORITY, it can take up to 2 weeks (10 business days) for delivery in some cases.  Shipping & handling costs is buyers responsibility.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:  I rarely ship internationally, when I do the following applies.   Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.  I do not mark merchandise below value on customs forms or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. I am not responsible for a timely delivery due to varying International customs delays.
