The Austin/Rover Allegro was a small car that British Leyland made from 1973 to 1982. The same car was made in Italy by Innocenti from 1974 to 1975 and was called the Innocenti Regent. A total of 642,350 Austin Allegros were made over ten years. Most of them were sold in Austin's home market.
