By installing a wireless card such as BCM94360CD or BCM943602CDP, the standard Wi-Fi (802.11n) in the Mac Pro Early 2009, Mid 2010, and Mid 2012 can be upgraded to Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 2.1 to Bluetooth 4.0/4.1/4.2 LE, etc.
Upgrading Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will enable Continuity features such as AirDrop, Handoff, and unlock on Apple Watch.
Supported models: Mac Pro 4,1 and 5,1
The following macOS systems have been tested : Mojave (10.14.6), Catalina (10.15.7), Big Sur (11.7.3), Monterey (12.6.3)
*Use the built-in Bluetooth communication socket and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antennas.
*Installation manual is not included.
