Rockpalast captured JOHN CALE & BAND in Germany in 1983 (solo) and 1984 (quartet), and this two-disc set (DVD or CD) brings you both long-unavailable, yet much-talked-about, performances. 

The mood is menacing in the 1984 show, which didn't begin 'til almost 3 a.m., and the intimate 1983 concert strips the songs to their raw emotions.
