Sly & the Family Stone is a funk rock group led by the genius Sly Stone.

This is their second album released in 1968, and is an important work that includes the title tune "Dance To The Music" that made the group's name widely known.

This number, which is full of euphoria and is popular in the DJ scene, became a big hit in the UK and the US as his first breakthrough work.

"HIGHER", which hints at the masterpiece recorded on the band's 4th album, is also known for its enthusiastic performance at the Woodstock festival in later years.

A masterpiece representative of the early days, with a direct pop-soul sound.
