Kondrashin's 1967 performance in Japan which was made into a CD from the original master recorded on NHK has been made into a set of 5 discs! ALTUS's new remaster with the latest technology greatly improves sound quality and the booklet is the same manuscript as the single CD Firmly covers. In addition a newly written manuscript by conductor Kenshiro Sakairi is also posted. This is a completely limited edition product so we recommend that you get it as soon as possible!

Notable is Mahler No. 9 of DISC1. This is the premiere in Japan and is one of the most important records in the history of Japanese music. It has not been distributed for a while and was out of print but the long-awaited revival with this set. There was a problem with sound quality due to the condition of some master tapes but this time we carefully remastered it and corrected it as much as possible and decided to ask the world about this famous performance again. The freezing tension and the ruthless and relentless propulsion give a tremendous impression. Not to mention "Sorrow" and Shostakovich I was convinced that this was the sound of Kondrashin that everyone was captivated by. I also listen to the co-starring with Oistrakh in the violin concerto. And DISC3 is a surprising collection of encores no way to do the 2nd movement of Mahler No. 3 ... Akutagawa can also be heard by the performance of the head family Soviet Union. Kondrashin's monumental masterpiece collection approaching with a super-rich lineup!
