The UN-5 butt welding machine (with saw blade) is mainly used for the docking of woodworking saw blades and metal saw blades. It is equipped with steel band cutting scissors, with a novel and reasonable design, strong and excellent output, simple and convenient operation, no need for too much force, no need for any auxiliary materials (such as silver or copper). The welding is fast and good, the welding joint is firm, and after annealing, it has strong tensile resistance, etc. After many years of use by many manufacturers, feedback is good, this product is a commonly used equipment for connecting (repairing) the saw blades of various types of gantry saws, horizontal band saws, vertical band saws, and metal cutting saws.
Specifications: Power: 6KW Maximum welding cross-sectional area: less than 35mm The power supply voltage two-phase: 380V Docking woodworking band saw blade width: 10-45mm, thickness: 0.6-0.75mm Docking metal band saw blade width: 10-40mm, thickness: 0.6-1.0mm Steel belt cutting width: 60mm, thickness 1.3mm Electrode stroke: 15mm Output voltage parameters: welding 2.2V, tempering 1V Transformer rating: 27KV/A Volume size: 460x340x410mm Weight: 80kg Package size: 600x600x800mm Package weight: 85kg Notice: The allowable overload of transformer for short-term operation (rated power) is 2.5 times, Please stop welding for eight consecutive times and rest before working.
Operating instructions: 1. The power circuit of the external unit is a two wire 380V, and it can be used normally when the power indicator light is on when connected (note: after docking, the power must be cut off). 2. According to the regulations on the nameplate on the machine panel, select the corresponding welding parameters based on the width and thickness of the saw band to be welded, and adjust the switch handles to the required values and positions (if the power supply voltage is lower than 380V, it can be adjusted up by one gear appropriately) 3. The two ends of the docked saw blade or steel strip must be cut flush (the cutting surface must be at a 90 degree angle to the back of the saw) without rust or dirt (if there is rust or dirt on the surface, it must be wiped clean with sandpaper, etc.). Then, use a hand brush to clean the working surface of the electrode, and place the saw blade between the upper and lower pressure plates (if the alloy saw strip is used, the alloy teeth should be aligned with the stainless steel plate in front of the steel plate, and the two ends should be clamped after aligning the interface 4. Pull down the welding handle according to the direction indicated on the nameplate, and the cutting surface of the saw blade or steel strip will automatically fuse. 5. After the docking is completed, release the clamping device and move the welding handle to the starting position. Return the movable electrode to the maximum distance between the two electrodes. Place the interface of the docked saw blade steel strip in the middle of the two electrodes and clamp it again. Then, adjust the tempering switch according to the size of the saw blade for tempering (note that when turning 1, the current is high. When turning 2 inches, the current is low.) At the same time, observe the joint of the saw blade, Stop tempering when it turns dark red (note: a bright red color during tempering indicates that the tempering time is too long and the temperature is too high. The saw blade must be allowed to cool down before re tempering, otherwise it cannot be used) 6. This machine continuously docks about 8 saw steel strips. It should be stopped for a period of time and allowed to cool naturally before continuing to use. 7. After welding, use an angle grinder to grind both sides of the butt joint and then temper it again. The steel strip can only be used.
Safety and Maintenance: Flammable items such as cotton and surgical debris are prohibited from being stored next to the machine. During welding, be careful not to cause sparks that can cause injury. During use, the working electrode should be regularly cleaned to ensure its flatness. The electrical components inside the transformer and machine tool should be cleaned of dirt every six months. The moving parts such as the guide rail surface and shaft should be lubricated regularly to ensure smoothness. The insulation part of the electrode should be regularly inspected: its insulation resistance should not be less than 0.1 ohms.
