Here we have medium-sized, 100% authentic Tahitian round/near-round-shaped pearls hanging in a loose strand.  Harvested from the black-lipped Pinctada Margaritifera oysters that thrive in saltwater farms around the lagoons of French Polynesia, these pearls have body colors in the medium-dark palette.  One icy-blue pearl stands out in an off-beat sort of way, giving a unique accent to this gorgeous strand.  These lovely pearls are all-natural in color and have not been dyed, treated nor enhanced in any way. 

Overall AA-Grade (minor flaws on 50% of the pearls' surface, with 10% containing deep imperfections and 40% clean surface).  Good luster.  Pearl sizes range from 12.8mm to 14.2mm.  There are 39 pearls on this strand. 

This is a loose strand (temporarily strung only, not knotted between the pearls and has no clasp), and is being sold here as it is.  It is approximately 20.5 inches long.  When fully knotted and secured with a clasp, the strand will extend to approximately 22 to 23 inches.  At this matinee length, the necklace will lie past the collar bone, or at the top of a woman's cleavage. This is perfect for accessorizing a subtle turtle neck or high collar blouse.  It is also a wonderful addition to any shorter length necklace for a fabulous layered look.  Easily shift from a casual look to business and evening ensembles.
