The first in a series of album tributes to the visionary jazz composer coordinated and pressed by Red Hot Organization, an AIDS awareness non-profit. This album was inspired by Sun Ra's piece "Nuclear War," which was written in reaction to the Three Mile Island Power Plant meltdown near the artist's Philadelphia base.
