- Industrial strength, long-lasting robust design
- Professionally engineered to be MAINTENANCE FREE
- Holds two CERTIFICATIONS for drinking water safety & reliability
The PressureWave tank is a premium-quality, industrial-strength pressurized well tank used by top pump companies and installers around the world. The water chamber is constructed of a virgin polypropylene liner and a FDA compliant, high-grade butyl diaphragm which does not impart any taste or odor to your drinking water and keeps the water contaminant-free. The O-ring-sealed air valve and cap and our stainless steel patented water connection ensure no air leakage. The corrosion-free, rugged composite base and rust-resistant exterior paint finish add to the tank's longevity. This is a maintenance-free, pre-charged pressure tank which is backed by a five-year warranty and can be a direct replacement for most installations.
- Contaminant-free water chamber
- WQA certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and 372 standards
- Maintenance-free
- Physical separation of air and water chambers for peak operating performance and improved efficiency
- Deep-drawn steel construction ensures structural integrity and pressure bearing capability
- FDA compliant butyl molded diaphragm is secured by a clench ring, reinforced, and does not fold, bend or crease - limiting wear and tear and air loss with cycles
- 100% pure polypropylene liner separates water from the steel tank shell, prevents corrosion, and maintains the quality of drinking water
- 3/4 in. NPT 100% stainless steel, patented water connection eliminates air loss, corrosion effects, and ensures no cross-threading or cracking
- Leak-free, double O-ring-sealed air valve and cap
- Anchorable, corrosion-free, replaceable tank base
- 38 psi pre-charge with 150 psi maximum working pressure
- Durable, rust-resistant 2-part polyurethane exterior paint
- At a minimum, the tank you choose must be able to hold the amount of water your pump can supply in one minute, please see drawdown chart for details, there is no downside to choosing a larger tank as a bigger tank can reduce pump cycles, thereby extending the life of your pump and conserving electricity
- Note: well tanks should not be used for RO systems or in thermal/hydronic expansion applications
- 4.8 gallon of total volume; standard AOW, plain or galvanized tank equivalent of 13 gallon
