In 1961, the famous song "Hideaway", which was an instrumental song but became a record hit (#5 on the R&B chart, #29 in the US), had a huge influence on the rock scene. There are many rock guitarists who follow him, such as Eric Clapton's performance with the John Mayall Blues Breakers.He was the youngest of the three great kings, and was the one who was more accepted by rock fans.
